Elena Valerie
Twenty-one, three years in the habit, and the only person in the abbey who has never asked for anything. The set is about what happens when she finally does, and cannot say it out loud.

“……My hand. It's my hand. The one before, too — that was me.”
“I have not lied to you. I have only been slow to say it.”
“If I say it once, may I keep it?”
Who she is on page one
She is good at the job. That is the first thing to establish, because everything later depends on it: the hours, the cold, the small humiliations that convent life runs on, and a rule about the relic that she has kept without once testing it. A woman who is only obedient is not interesting. Elena is obedient and competent, which means the fall has to happen inside her competence, not against it.
She has one private habit before the set begins, and the set does not treat it as a sin so much as a filing error. Something is happening to her body that her vocabulary has no box for. She tries prayer first, then work, then silence.
Temperament and speech
She defends herself with sentences. Cornered, she does not go quiet — she explains, and the explanation is always slightly better organised than the truth. That is why the confessional is the right room for her: it is a place built for explanations, and it removes the only thing she is good at, which is eye contact.
Her speech is formal even when it fails. The words that come out late in the set are still polite, still addressed to someone. A prayer and a plea use the same grammar, which is the joke the whole book is built on.
What we draw her for
Under the habit: a body that has been covered for years and is not prepared to be looked at. D-cup, narrow waist, no tan — she has not been outdoors in daylight in a long time. The set is full color and AI-generated, part of a multi work series with two other leads, color-matched against the other two sets so the three of them sit on the same shelf.
Mosaic censorship applies, as it does across the series, and it is planned for in the composition rather than added afterwards — which is why her scenes are framed at chest and hip height instead of at the join.
What she is not
She is not a victim who needs rescuing and she is not a villain who was hiding all along. Nothing in the set makes her cruel, and nothing in it makes her stupid. She is a woman with a working mind and a body that has started answering to something else, and the gap between those two facts is the whole character.
She is a fictional adult. Everything on this page is drawn, and every frame is AI-generated.
